ARZENI ORO LIQUIDO

Oro Liquido EDP is the warmth for winter captured in a bottle. Cinnamon, vanilla, and tonka bean form its signature rich, enveloping, and deeply ambery scent, wrapped in sandalwood and soft musks that seem to hold their warmth against the skin.

Its cinnamon comes from dried bark, extracted with supercritical CO₂ rather than conventional distillation. The process works at relatively low temperatures, preserving more of the bark’s natural aromatic character. The result is cinnamon with a remarkably dry, sweet, woody, and almost glowing presence.

Tonka bean brings a darker kind of sweetness. In northern Brazil, the ripe fruits of Dipteryx odorata are traditionally collected after falling naturally from trees growing in the forest. The fruits are opened, the black beans removed and dried before extraction into a concentrated resinoid. Their natural coumarin gives Oro Liquido its unmistakable tonka character: warm hay, almond, vanilla and a faint tobacco-like richness beneath the cinnamon.

Cacao sits much further in the shadows. The beans of Theobroma cacao are fermented, dried and roasted before their aromatic material is captured through supercritical CO₂ extraction. In the background, it provides sweetness with dry, bitter depth.

Nutmeg gives the fragrance another dimension of warmth. Oro Liquido uses a refined version of the seed, which leaves a cleaner expression of nutmeg's warm, woody, and slightly fruity character. Pink pepper, steam-distilled from the berries of the Schinus tree, cuts briefly through the richness with a bright, peppery lift.

Olibanum lies underneath it all. Resin slowly gathered from tapped Boswellia trees brings a restrained incense-like dryness, while sandalwood and musks soften the edges and give the fragrance its velvety persistence.

Oro Liquido wears warm and dense on the skin. Cinnamon stays at the centre, softened by vanilla, tonka bean and sandalwood. As it settles, the sweetness becomes smoother and darker, while nutmeg, olibanum and pink pepper keep the fragrance from becoming too soft or sugary. The drydown is rich, musky and persistent, with the cinnamon still clearly present hours later.
